- Don Prebus discussed membership drive for CNSW
National group. Will contact CNSW Regional Rep Aaron Harold to attend
next chapter meeting.
- Nominations for chapter officials discussed.
Jan volunteered to be part of the Nominating Committee.
- Discussed topics for next chapter meeting
tentatively scheduled for May 2006. Date & location TBA. Program to
consist of an 6-hour workshop related to Dementia: Perspectives for
Dialysis Patients. CEU's will be offered. Mary Goranson will contact Dan
Beavers, Geriatric Psychiatrist form Vancouver. Terry & Jan will
contact community contacts related to Elder Law and Guardianship Issues.
Pat Lee will contact Legacy Caregiver Support Group for a presenter.
Members reminded to get bio statement and learning objectives from
potential speakers.
- Advanced Directives & documentation
requirements discussed. Topic to be tabled for further discussion at a
later date.
- Treasurer's Report from Mary Goranson. 2006
budget: $1809.49. Discussed methods to encourage employers to support
membership by paying chapter dues.
- Members discussed Medicare Part D.

P/T Position open in Hood
River 24 hrs/week w/potential increase to 30 hrs/wk. Salary range

NKF ORWA chapter letters
in route to SWK's re: reinstatement of Patient Service Funds with $200/yr max
